ChemInform Abstract: Cobalt Clusters with Cubane-Type Topologies Based on Trivacant Polyoxometalate Ligands.

Four novel cobalt-substituted polyoxometalates having cobalt cores exhibiting cubane or dicubane topologies have been synthesized and characterized by IR, elemental analysis, electrochemistry, UV–vis spectroscopy, X-ray single-crystal analysis, and magnetic studies. The tetracobalt(II)-substituted polyoxometalate [Co4(OH)3(H2O)6(PW9O34)]4– (1) consists of a trilacunary [B-α-PW9O34]9– unit which accommodates a cubane-like {CoII4O4} core. A new interpretation for the structure of the VN bands of ethylene

Abstract Potential surfaces for CC stretch and CH2 twisting of ethylene obtained by the combined SCF CI method lead to the prediction that non-vertical transitions are responsible for the absorption maximum in the VN bands and that the broad diffuse nature of the spectrum in this region could well be caused by the proximity of two states of the same symmetry of the twisted molecule.
Perceived motivational climate influences athletes’ emotion regulation strategies, emotions, and psychobiosocial experiences

The purpose of the study was to investigate whether athletes’ perceptions about the motivational climate created by their coach influence emotion regulation strategies (i.e., cognitive reappraisal and expressive suppression), emotions, and psychobiosocial experiences of athletes. A sample of 459 competitive athletes (201 women, 258 men), aged 16–35 years, drawn from individual and team sports, completed self-assessment measures of perceived motivational climate, emotion regulation, sport emotions, and psychobiosocial experiences. It has led to the formation of a positive image of a woman-Christian heroine commemorated in next centuries.

This study sought to understand the role of sport-specific play and practice in the development of adolescent team sport athletes in the Finnish sports development system. Participants were male, 15-year-old soccer (n ¼ 141), ice hockey (n ¼ 204), and basketball (n ¼ 96) players, divided into three groups based on the amount of sport-specific play and practice experienced during childhood.
